Knights of Columbus Supreme Council
The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic men's fraternal benefit society that was formed to render financial aid to members and their families. Mutual aid and assistance are offered to sick, disabled and needy members and their families. Social and intellectual fellowship is promoted among members and their families through educational, charitable, religious, social welfare, war relief and public relief works.

The history of the Order shows how the foresight of Father Michael J. McGivney, whose cause for sainthood is being investigated by the Vatican, brought about what has become the world's foremost Catholic fraternal benefit society. The Order has helped families obtain economic security and stability through its life insurance, annuity and long-term care programs, and has contributed time and energy worldwide to service in communities. The Knights of Columbus has grown from several members in one council to more than 12,000 councils and 1.6 million members throughout the United States, Canada, the Philippines, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Panama, the Bahamas, the Virgin Islands, Guatemala, Guam and Saipan.

Knightsite K of C Web Directory
The concept for Knightsite began in July 1994. Knightsite is one of the oldest continuously operating K of C websites on the World Wide Web. Knightsite has received numerous awards over the years including The International Council of Webmasters 2003 Website of the Year. In 1997 Knightsite was listed in the Top 40 Catholic Websites in the World by the Catholic Internet Directory as the #1 Knights of Columbus Website and #15 of all Catholic Websites in the world. From the very beginning the goal of Knightsite was to encourage the members and councils of the Knights of Columbus to use the Internet as a resource to serve God and to benefit our Church, our country and our Order. We have come a long way since 1994. Knightsite is celebrating its 10th year of service. We hope that you can help us reach our goal. We also hope that you find the various features on Knightsite helpful in reaching that goal.
